FurDeco
A furniture flagship, rebuilt for the web.

FurDeco needed an online flagship that matched the quality of the pieces it sells, the kind of furniture people buy once and keep for a decade. The brief was simple to state and hard to deliver: make browsing a catalog feel like walking into a showroom, on a screen that can't convey weight, grain, or the way light actually falls across a fabric.
Luxury furniture sells on texture, proportion, and light, none of which come across in a template-driven storefront. FurDeco's existing site loaded slowly, cropped product photography awkwardly at common breakpoints, and gave no sense of scale, which made high-ticket pieces feel riskier to buy sight unseen. There was also no consistent way to show a piece in context: every product page was an island, with no visual thread tying the collection together.
We rebuilt the storefront from scratch: a custom-coded product gallery with large-format photography that never gets cropped or resampled awkwardly, restrained motion that never distracts from the product, and a checkout flow trimmed down to the essentials. Product images were shot and compressed specifically for scale reference (every piece includes a room-context shot, not just an isolated studio angle), and the zoom/pan interaction was built custom rather than pulled from a plugin, since off-the-shelf zoom components kept softening fabric texture on compression. Every layout decision was tested against one question: does this help someone picture the piece in their own home?
The result is a site that carries the brand's material quality through to the screen: fast, uncluttered, and built to make premium pieces feel worth the price, with a gallery system that scales cleanly as the catalog grows instead of needing a rebuild for every new collection.
Let’s build something memorable.
