This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) are used on axiobyte.online, what each one does, how long it lasts, and how you can change your mind at any time. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Local storage is a similar browser mechanism that holds data on your device until it is explicitly cleared. Both are covered by the same consent rules under the ePrivacy Directive and the GDPR, so both are listed below.
Analytics technologies are not loaded when you first arrive. They are only activated if you choose "Accept" in our cookie banner. If you choose "Decline", or simply ignore the banner, no analytics script is ever loaded and no analytics identifier is created.
Strictly necessary items (remembering your language and remembering your cookie choice itself) do not require consent, because the site cannot function correctly without them.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time, and doing so is as easy as giving it. Use the button below, or the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page:
When you withdraw consent we immediately signal Google Analytics to stop storing data, and we delete the analytics cookies already on your device. No analytics script is loaded on any subsequent page view.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|---|
locale-pref | Cookie — strictly necessary | Remembers whether you are browsing the English or Romanian version, so you are not redirected again on every visit. | 12 months | Axiobyte (first-party) |
cookie-consent | Local storage — strictly necessary | Stores your answer to the cookie banner so you are not asked again on every page. | Until you clear it or withdraw consent | Axiobyte (first-party) |
clientName | Local storage — functional | Set only if you submit the contact form, so the thank-you page can greet you by name. Never sent to a third party. | Until you clear your browser storage | Axiobyte (first-party) |
_ga | Cookie — analytics (consent required) | Assigns a pseudonymous identifier used to tell one visitor apart from another across pages and visits. | 24 months | Google Analytics 4 |
_ga_4Z7L0QJ4KY | Cookie — analytics (consent required) | Maintains session state for this specific Google Analytics property. | 24 months | Google Analytics 4 |
| Vercel Analytics & Speed Insights | Analytics (consent required) | Aggregate page-view counts and page-performance measurements. These set no cookie and build no persistent visitor identifier, but they are still loaded only after you accept. | No cookie set | Vercel Inc. |
We would rather be accurate than reassuring here: Google Analytics 4 data is pseudonymous, not anonymous. The _ga cookie holds a randomly generated identifier that allows your visits to be linked to one another. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses, and we do not enable advertising features, ad personalization, or data sharing for advertising purposes. Google acts as a processor on our behalf and may transfer data outside the EU under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Independently of our banner, every major browser lets you block or delete cookies through its settings, and offers a private browsing mode that discards them when you close the window. Blocking strictly necessary items means your language preference is forgotten and the cookie banner reappears on every visit.
If we add, remove, or change any of the technologies listed above, this page and the table in section 4 are updated at the same time. The "Last Updated" date at the top always reflects the current state of the site.
